Bernie, MJ RIP authored by Lola on 18. July 2009 at 16:29
Hey Bernie,
I got no ill-feelings towards you, I just get pissed sometimes but am ok! Your last posting is a cool one and very healthy! That’s what I look for in people. Ofcourse I was eagerly waiting for the come back, I was even fooled into buying a fake ticket which I now keep as a souvenir!
But all said, I must address your earlier postings as follows;
My grand dad said to me the other day, ‘In every generation (100 years) there’s only one mega superstar and the rest will only be imitators. For us he was it, period! Expecting another in our generation is madness. We can only hope that for our grand children - that is way through their 40s. This person, will turn the rocks upside down and whether one likes it or not, they will be touched, ofcourse not forgetting the Bega Mega Superstar - Jesus- who lives thru all generations! Now whether that’s right stuff, it’s just going be up to everyone!
Therefore, I have no doubt you feel the loss with MJ’s departure! It can’t be helped and also you’ve always indicated it in your postings !
What caused his death is of course relative and going to depending on your perception; the way you interpret stuff - which in your case I find very funny given that my arguments seem to indicate to you that am happy he’s gone, that I exalt plastic surgery! You either look at the surface and draw your conclusions or gain deeper understanding & analyse accordingly which again is a problem with you like we’ve seen! So in your book the cause of death was bleaching his skin and changing his nose, right? So that’s why this is your prime concern! In mine it was his insecurities largely based on his absurd childhood, leading him to the negative stuff he got up to, that’s why that’s my main concern!
You want to know why am pinning you down on this? It’s because I think, if anyone had to sing negatives over the dead man, I’d rather have them sing child abuse than its effects! Ofcourse you’re very uninformed sir, that’s why you’re still looking at the nose as the cause of his death even amidst overwhelming evidence! Surely we shall never see eye to eye about this so let’s agree to disagree.
And even though you use this platform to want to convince us you are super, you are not…if you had that dough at such an early age and surrounded by the same circumstances you would have done exactly the same thing. The combination of early age and millions of money is a lethal weapon to anyone let alone an abused kid….and mistakes are made! Infections acquired (HIV), students washed out of school, sometimes even University, motor accidents, drugs etc…even in Africa where money is scarce! Even beyond that; mid aged people stray from their partners and bring home deadly killer infections and the whole family gets wiped out! So I think you should invest your energy in the causes of death for so many people back home than what you think is MJ’s cause of death! Coz that’s not such a big issue like I said time has improved the mechanics and has made the procedures more safe and healthy. No one is likely to die from a nose reconstruction and even if we would like people to accept themselves as they are, they are failing to do so and thousands are still doing it! So what’s the point? In your endeavours to heal the world please focus on saving your own folks back home than Americans with all the blast around them!
True your advice e.g’ appreciate the fact that there is nothing wrong with being what you are’ is very right and quite healthy but the problem is they are being based on a bottomless pit! But it will be taken up depending on one’s past, age, circumstances, country of residence and how rich they are. Your advice should work well with normal people especially children, I hope you are a father! MJ’s life was not normal from the word go and so some of his decisions esp. the nose were not normal! If you’re looking to deal with messed up kids, you will have to deal with the mess before you teach them to make wise deliberations!
By the way, it’s you that seems happy he’s gone, if I read between the lines! You keep punctuating your praises with sly statements every now and then; negative + positive = negative! So one would think you’re all for him but then you come crushing everything down with one or 2 negatives to make sure the reader understands the man was not really good! (That’s what sparked me up in the beginning!) And now you want to turn round and put me in your pit … I WON’T LET YOU!

Life is funny. All the western media was always writing about how degenerately evil Michael was until that fateful Thursday when they started showing him love. My Ugandan friends condemn Michael for having wanted to be white, the nose thing and that when he visted Tanzania in the 90s he touched his nose signifying smell. I am an MJ fan and have been since the days of Nakasero primary school when we had MJ dance competitions in breaks. I remember a certain Peter Kasedde who was the best, hands down. Everyday there would be a challenger and Peter would moonwalk them down. It was a show for some of us who did not posess a vidoe player and had not gotten the chance to see the gloved-one. What I am trying to say is that no matter what punks say, MJ is a part of most of our lives. Defending his skin "whitening", I got an uncle who got sick and today he looks like he was boiled in oil. He has black and white patches all over his body and in Uganda we call it "eddoggo" or voodoo. This is the same disease Mike had and it has lately been proved that it attacks the hands first, hence MJ`s glove. Now had my uncle had MJ`s dough, he would have bleached himself. As for the nose, well, he fell down during a dance practice but in all fairness, I have to admit that he went too far. His visit to Tanzania...well, I am an African and as proud, but I gotta say that there is strong stench that hits you when you have just arrived in Uganda. What with rubbish burning everywhere, exhaust fumes and the durst. Whenever I come to Uganda it takes me a couple of days before my nose gets used, now think of an American with virtually no nose, would you blame him for holding his nose? Alot of positive stuff about him is coming out lately and I pray that the kid who accused him would also come forward. And by the way, he never said that he shares his bed with young boys....he shared his bedroom, the kids slept in his bed while he on the floor. To all you haters, when it comes to Michael, you either love him or just love to hate him. MJ...R.I.P

REAST IN ETERNAL PEACE in God's Kingdom, Micheal Joe Jackson
I will always remember you as a humanitarian who was not corrupt but who cared about the wellbeing of others with equality and with out prejudice. Your song "We are the world" send a message to many around the world.
Rest in peace

We just want to put his life to be put in proper perspective. I would not equate his life Martin Luther King like some have done in States.

Unless you want us to forget this guy so fast like that. Debate is a debate moreover this is a very healthy debate between those claimed informed and those branded uninformed. Unless you are mandated to call it off.

Can some one let MJ rest in peace. He is not going to come back so let the Guy rest in eternal peace.
Who are we to judge him. It is God who will judge him.
He was the King of POP and will always be. There will never be another MJ or even an exact Wannabe of MJ.
I love all his songs especially " HUMAN NATURE" and " WE ARE THE WORLD" and "HEAL THE WORLD"
The man gave so much to africa.
No one is 100% perfect.
MJ will go to heaven and those in Uganda Poisoning innocent peple , human sacrificing other people, men, women and children, burning schools and markets, stealing , corruption, wreckless living , doing shody work on buildings, and all the shit that goes on in uganda. All those involved will go to HELL.MJ is gon eto Heaven and sitting right on Gods side as a humanitarian who never oppressed any one or sacrificed a child. |

The point with MJ is not his talent, Nobody disputes his talent but we know that his personal life was a mess. I don't see how a man who slept in bed with young boys, changed the color of his skin to look white and got a sperm from a white man for his children can be proclaimed as model for anyone.
Lola C, 'this has been one of the hardest blow in Music Industry', MJ Loss: authored by bernard on 16. July 2009 at 03:22
Lola C, I hope you are ok. I was expecting to hear something from you especially after my last comments after yours.
This is a very healthy debate and very encouraging. We can agree and disagree but without being disagreable. Let us not have ill-feelings against each other.
I am simply concerned that I wanted MJ still to continue to be with us as he even was ready for yet another powerful come-back to make both you and me feel happy or even happiest.
Would you not feel much happy about that come back by MJ? This has been one of the biggest blow in the music industry.
Let's all be concerned about his passing on as well as what caused it.
I will have another question to ask but only after your response to my comments after yours.
You are so quiet.

2003–05: Second child sexual abuse allegations
Further information: Living with Michael Jackson and People v. Jackson
In a series of interviews with Martin Bashir, broadcast in 2003 as Living with Michael Jackson, Jackson was seen holding hands and discussing sleeping arrangements with Gavin Arvizo, 13, who later accused him of sexual abuse.[113] Shortly after the documentary aired, Jackson was charged with seven counts of child molestation and two counts of administering an intoxicating agent in relation to Arvizo.[113]
Jackson denied the allegations, saying the sleepovers were not sexual in nature. Elizabeth Taylor defended him, saying she had been there when they were in the bed. "There was nothing abnormal about it," she told Larry King. "There was no touchy-feely going on. We laughed like children and we watched a lot of Walt Disney. There was nothing odd about it."[114] During the investigation, Jackson was examined by mental health professional Dr. Stan Katz; the doctor spent several hours with the accuser too. Katz said Jackson was a regressed 10-year-old, and did not fit the profile of a pedophile.[115]
During the two years between the charges and the trial, Jackson reportedly became dependent on pethidine (Demerol), and lost a lot of weight. The People v. Jackson began on January 31, 2005, in Santa Maria, California, and lasted five months, until the end of May. Jackson was acquitted on all counts.[116][117][118] After the trial, he relocated to the Persian Gulf island of Bahrain, as a guest of Sheikh Abdullah.[119]
