If u have the full album why all the fuss and negativity. i think the following answers ur curiosity Mr if u want full infor go to MJ's bio wikipedia:

2003–05: Second child sexual abuse allegations
Further information: Living with Michael Jackson and People v. Jackson

In a series of interviews with Martin Bashir, broadcast in 2003 as Living with Michael Jackson, Jackson was seen holding hands and discussing sleeping arrangements with Gavin Arvizo, 13, who later accused him of sexual abuse.[113] Shortly after the documentary aired, Jackson was charged with seven counts of child molestation and two counts of administering an intoxicating agent in relation to Arvizo.[113]

Jackson denied the allegations, saying the sleepovers were not sexual in nature. Elizabeth Taylor defended him, saying she had been there when they were in the bed. "There was nothing abnormal about it," she told Larry King. "There was no touchy-feely going on. We laughed like children and we watched a lot of Walt Disney. There was nothing odd about it."[114] During the investigation, Jackson was examined by mental health professional Dr. Stan Katz; the doctor spent several hours with the accuser too. Katz said Jackson was a regressed 10-year-old, and did not fit the profile of a pedophile.[115]

During the two years between the charges and the trial, Jackson reportedly became dependent on pethidine (Demerol), and lost a lot of weight. The People v. Jackson began on January 31, 2005, in Santa Maria, California, and lasted five months, until the end of May. Jackson was acquitted on all counts.[116][117][118] After the trial, he relocated to the Persian Gulf island of Bahrain, as a guest of Sheikh Abdullah.[119]

Sophie no offence but i think you are tripping if you called me uninformed. i lIke MJ. authored by k. stephen on 15. July 2009 at 16:16
I have a thriller super deluxe album bought on e-bay, my room is lined with a micheal jackson tribute affiche, i liked mj as a person first even before his music , i would have loved to taste kentucky fried chicken( not kenturky chicken like Sophie alledges) like micheal did, i've his acceptance speech after he was accorded the double inductee status in 1984 and up to now i still mourn his death. After all that i think i need to scribble Micheal's name on water for all concerned to know that i've no personal vendetta against the idol. Sophie tanning or cosmetic surgery there is nothing that is going to make any thing in that realm sound good however much you try and connect it to the world's greatest, if you claim to be informed did you check out the research that was on or in THE TIMES on tanning and how it is causing a surge in the incidences of skin cancer, well guess not because you wouldn't have written such unfounded hogwash( sorry for the language , am looking for a less fitting word). To further illustrate how luke warmlly you are informed , soragates( psoragates) is an insect if i were to put it in pedestrian lingua but if you meant surrogate mothers then i've no problem with that.
If you so much loved MJ then why don't you follow the advice he gives on healing the world because you seem to be living on a different planet where people so much epitomise and trade reality with obssesion. By the way THE SUN reported yesterday through reknown biographer(Ian kathryn) that micheal was gay( hoping it is not true). Sophie thanks for the contribution because it was timely , it has forced me to write my all -of-you feel-nice MJ tribute article, hoping it will be done by tommorow.

Kiggundu i wanted u to see the other side of life authored by Sophie on 15. July 2009 at 11:45
Mr kiggundu i was not supporting plastic surgery but i wanted u to see the other side of life. What if u were the one with an abnormality (skin condition) like MJ had what would u have done? Come on he is not the first one who has done it. Programmes of plastic surgery are aired everyday on europe's TVs where pple have done it more than twenty times!!!
And Mr kiggundu wat would u say of a white person who uses sunbeds to tan their skin? why would a white person want to look coloured? It all depends on wats going on in peoples lives and as of the the world today its changing mr kiggundu u will be left behind. as for MJ's children i dont see why anyone would have a problem with that pple adopt, if u can have a soragate mother then why go for a doption and by the way that will show u how much love MJ had for kids.
On a live interview with MJ on ITV3, MJ talked about all that nonsense that people like u write without being informed. He stated that he was human and ate like u and me. funny he ate KENTURKY FRIED CHICKEN but said if u remove the skin it becomes organic lol. He enjoyed a laugh like u and me. RIP MJ

Hey kiggundu catch the world its leaving u behind.

Lola C, Bernie is uninformed authored by bernard on 14. July 2009 at 18:20
Hello Lola C, why pin me down about this?

All am saying is that personally I am very unhappy that we lost the brilliant star in pop music. Unfortunately your arguments seem very much that you are happy that he passed on or what?

If anything you should have been more than concerned about what cuased his passing on....

The king of pop passed on at a age when we needed him most.

Thus, I am just crying about what might have caused his passing on too earlier than expected...

And yours, would I say some sort of a crocodile tears? What can i say? What can you say?

Well, I still stand by words about what you so exalt and think i am uniformed about.

Mr Kigundu got it right and some few people I dont want to name here but have also got it right.

Making better decisions; May MJ RIP authored by bernard on 13. July 2009 at 17:35
I forgot something to say. Even if we are struggling with one of the most devasting situation in our lives, all I am saying is that we must learn to make wise deliberations.

I don't think I am uninformed or wrong about this.

If you find yourself in a very hard situation please don't go to extreme.

Otherwise going to extreme, it would not make your situation any better and it would leave every one wondering where you are coming from and going.

Let's excel in all aspects of life and let no one deceive us or mislead us when it comes to matters about making wise decisions about the best life we want.

Only change what is changable and whatever is not changable there is no need to force it. Otherwise if you force it the side effects may not bethe best for you and this will be a matter of concern for all.

Still need to work on our ignorance and to appreciate the fact that there is nothing wrong with being what you are.

The topic clearly is linked to identity as being black or being white. So let's not mix up issues here.

MJ RIP

Getting to know MJ as king of pop after his death authored by bernard on 13. July 2009 at 16:31
What is it about MJ that made so many millions and millions all over the world interested in him?

Obviously, it was his music and nothing more and nothing less...

Music is the key that unlocks the door to people's souls. Alcohol provides the buzz (get me right). Music brings out the glory.

The muscian as hero, the muscian as star, the star as untouchable, and many of them, especially MJ, incapable of appearing like us mortals.

I liked his music and continue to like no matter what. Whenever I hear certain songs from the healer, we are the world, the earth ..., my world itself is different. Especially the thriller, it takes me right to 1982, to a time in my life so far away, it is like a distant planet in a shrinking universe.

Boy, could MJ dance!

He did things on the dance floor that could take your breath away. Quite often, his feet appeared to float across the floor as though he were riding on a sponge of air. And there were the characteristic motions he made -the arm thrust upward and the out with the V sign and the head tossed back as though a great victory had been won, and this finale was the last shot being fired.

Music and dancing. Dancing and music. This is what most of us admired about MJ.

What might have not been admired and coud not really understand.
More and more over the years, we got to know him, as his skin turned whiter and whiter. The transition was as amazing as if the white skinned guy turned darker and darker. And there was the nose that went from something most of us would think nothing of one that was the work of surgeons and plastic -from large to a pointy, thinner, grotesque looking spike coming out of his face... And there was the longer, black straighter hair and his lips -usually with reddish hues.

And how about the sunglasses worn at midniht, the masks, the gloves, the armbands, the uniforms that made him appear as though he were in an army of some sort? -Well, all was like a wonderful costume to help him reach out to all. And he made it so well but not knowing that some were overdone at his own expense...He is not to blame but I bet, ignorance is sometimes not the best thing. It is important that we are all getting to know it right.

There were other signs that not all was right about this brilliant star that could captivate the world but who failed when it came to running his own life. I did mentioned about this a little earlier. He was all mixed up with his sexuality. He fathered children but did not make love with the women who carried and delivered them. I thought this would not be the best of the best for couples to not go conjugal or consummate. And he never wanted his children to be black he said it clearly, wondering what he really meant by that!!!

Then came the sad inevitable traggic end, when his heart stopped beating and he stopped breating and his legacy was left for mankind to deal with. Maybe if he had controlled some of the choices as he made decisions, maybe he would still have been around. Anyway death always comes as a thief, the good book says.

Where do we go from here?

Back to our lives without MJ but with his music left to us as a reminder of what he used to be.
MJ RIP, You have touched and changed the world in your own way. We have definitely learned a lot from you and from the many comments that discussion board brings forth about this topic and many other good topics that help us to learn and make reasonable deliberations.

Thank you for your attention and for this space of the discussion board on the NV.

Mr. Kiggundu authored by Lola on 13. July 2009 at 15:46
Mr. Kiggundu Stephen, indeed you are a gentleman and this is to say you got it all wrong! The uninformed gentleman I referred to is Bernie - the reason I opted out of this debate earlier! His negative sly remarks about the dead!!. (I didnt want to name names)

I've found what you've said all along very informative and positive - we need people like you especially in our third world.

Thanks and God bless

RIP MJ

Dancing on MJ's grave, who? me? authored by k. stephen on 13. July 2009 at 15:13
Finger pointing and throwing personal attacks is not a trade i so much ply in and my acumen there is not that honed but i think it is inevitable that i try and answer what i judge to be uncalled for reactions. When i joined the debate remniscent of MJ 's death i thought it was best to use his strong points or achievements to accord him a passing fit for a ' king' but also to employ his weak points to foster a bloom of 'kings' free from Micheal's scandalous side and that was the basic and curt moral of my piece.
I was rather saddened that SOPHIE could so much blindly revere MJ to an extent that she exalted cosmetic surgery and its non-existent relevance today. For beginners, there is a difference between reconstructive and cosmetic surgeries( Gil;man 4), the latter being a lopsided medical procedure designed for those that have an impaired self esteem. However, RHINOPLASTY( nose-job) and the BOOB JOBS that Sophie blatantly admires have adverse side effects like impaired breast feeding, obsecuring canceropus tomours during mammography and difficulty in breathing as Dr.Goodstein opined about Micheal's situation. Am not going to go picketing for the ban of the regrettable nemesis that the cosmetic surgery is but it would be fool-hardy for any one to delve into it as the hazards are real.
David, poverty is an immense challenge of untold jutting implications to an even emotionally balanced person ( i want so much to suppose that you are) as compared to a huge nose that is just an innocent mark of etthinicity renedring that comparison utterly unfair and imbalanced.
Lola, you insinuated that i am an 'uninformed gentleman' . I agree to to being a gentle man( who wouldn't savour that?) but given that i can skim off iformation from the top of my brain concerning vitiligo like i am going to illustrate below quells your misguided assertion. Micheal suffered from vitiligo, and one of the causes of that condition is skin trauma which may be caused by applying bleaching creams rich in hydroquinone that Micheal was purpotedly using before the eventual onset of the vitiligo.
Lastly this debate is as healthy as they come because it rids us of ' THE SMOOTH CRIMINAL' ignorance thus HEALING OF THE WORLD and making it a better place. I liked, like and will always like Micheal because of the THRILLER his life and music were but let us also put every thing in BLACK OR WHITE ( no pun was intended). For a detailed conversation you guys can reach me on 0774286665 to argue out the facts.

Thanks Godfrey-RIP MJ authored by Lola on 12. July 2009 at 21:48
Just thought I'd say something over some sick statements made by one obviously uninformed gentleman that seems to have so much time at his hands that he can't help himself but to slap an obviously well loved and appreciated departed person...even in death!

Whatever mistakes MJ made as a person (if they were mistakes!) were directed to himself - not outwards to others!! The negativity caused by his childhood he directed to himself not to others like some people we've seen. Thus the repurcussions he bore himself!!

It would be nice if people would respect the dead and keep their ugly comments to themselves and stop striving to make us think they are super - which they aren't - and we know it!

RIP M.J.

Kiggundu Stephen, Wake up and move with the world you are in. authored by David on 12. July 2009 at 21:22
With due respect Mr. Kiggundu, I would like to point out the tenet which says that "Innocent until proven guilty" Jackson did not write this... so where you condemn him as a pedophile I am waiting for you to tell me in which court he was convicted and in which jail he served. America is one of the countries which most abhors sexual abuse of any kind and its laws are rather strict regardless of who is involved. So if the judicial system could not find him guilty who are you to tell us otherwise? With all his success and money he could not bribe or corrupt the judicial system of America so do not think about telling us that that is what he did.
About plastic surgery being about lack of self esteem, that is only known to you. The world nowadays is about changing what we can in order to make it better. Have you heard of hair re-growth for bald people? Tummy tucks, Liposuction, breast augmentation, Genetic modification, In vitro fertilization, to mention a few? All these are about making changes for the better; all about people having a choice with their lives, you do not choose to be bald, sterile, barren, ugly, and or, poor. So be honest and tell us that if really you had one or some of the flaws mentioned and you had a choice(monetary or otherwise) would you choose to change them or not?
Hypocrisy of the highest order sometimes is manifested when we speak of things that do not affect us or which are above our capabilities but deep down in our hearts a voice tells us that were we to be the one with the flaws maybe we would do the same!! I for one had a flaw of poverty in my life and that is why I wake every morning and strive to change it for the better, Do I have low self esteem? Tell me Mr. Kiggundu.
