1. Kanungu District Local Government has received and allocated funds for Consultancy Services for the Construction Supervision for the proposed Construction of District Administration Block Phase one.
2. Kanungu District Local Government invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for mentioned SERVICES above. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open National Bidding Procedures contained in the Local Government (Public Procurement and Disposal Assets) Regulation, 2006 and is open to all eligible bidders.
3. The objective of the assignment is for the consultant is to supervise and monitor the physical progress of works on behalf of Kanungu District Local Government with object that the works are completed on time, within budget and meeting acceptable engineering and safety standards.
4. The Consultancy Services are estimated to be of 6 Months Duration, Due to Start immediately and is to review the existing detailed Design and bid Documentation and making recommendations for Construction Supervision.
5. Interested eligible Consultants are supposed to indicate their interests in providing consultancy services by providing information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (Bronchures, description of similar assignments, experience for Similar Works, availability of appropriate skills etc.
6. Interested eligible consultants may obtain further information from Kanungu District Local Government Procurement and Disposal Unit Office and inspect bidding document from 25th February 2010 from 9:00am to 5:00pm during working hours.
7. Expression of interest of three (3) copies (One original and two copied clearly marked
CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR CONSTRUCTION SUPERVION FOR THE DISTRICT ADMINISTRATION BLOCK 1ST PHASE and addressed to:
