1. The Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development has allocated funds to be used for acquisition of services of a competent service provider to expand internet local area network.
2. The Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above service.
3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open domestic bidding procedures contained in the Government of Uganda's Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003 and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries.
4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at No. 7(a) from 9:00 am-5:00pm during working days.
5. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below at No. 7(b) and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 100, 000, (One hundred thousand shillings) The method of payment will be cash, paid at the bank. The document will be sent by hand. No liability will be accepted for loss or late delivery.
6. Bids must be delivered to the address below at No. 7(c) at or before 11:00 am,12th April, 2010. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of Uganda shillings 1,000,000 (One million shillings). Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend at the address below at No. 7(d) at 11:30a.m.

1. The Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development has allocated funds to be used for the acquisition of Two double cabin pick-up vehicles to be used in National Library and Department of Employment.
2. The Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply and delivery of two pick-up double cabin, 4WD vehicles.
3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open domestic bidding procedures contained in the Government of Uganda's Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003 and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries.
