1. The National Medical Stores has allocated funds to be used for the acquisition of Catering Services.
2. The National Medical Stores invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of Catering Services.
3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open domestic bidding procedures contained in the Government of Uganda’s Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003, and are open to all bidders from Uganda.
4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from National Medical Stores-Procurement Department, Plot 4-12 Nsamizi Road-Entebbe and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at No.7(a) from 8:30am to 4:30pm.
5. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below at 7(b) and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 50,000.
The method of payment will be cash to NMS-Cash Offi ce. The document will be sent by hand delivery. No liability will be accepted for loss or late delivery.
6. Bids must be delivered to the address below at No. 7(c) at or before 11:00am on 9th April, 2010. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of UGX: 3,888,000 or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency. Late bids shall be rejected.
Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives, who choose to attend at the address below at No. 7(d) at 11:30am at the NMS Staff Canteen on 9th April, 2010.
