De Point Consultants Limited is a Third Party Procurement Agent for The Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Authority (PPDA). We therefore act on behalf of PPDA.
PPDA allocated funds for the purchase of four motor vehicles. The invitation to bid under open domestic bidding method was published in the local print media; The Daily Monitor of Friday July 30, 2010 and The New Vision of Tuesday August 3, 2010, in which the bidding guidelines were notifi ed to interested bidders.
This is however, to notify all interested bidders that this procurement ref: PPDA/ SUPLS/10-11/00040 for the supply of Motor vehicles has been cancelled, on the strength of PPDA Regulation 95 (3) (b) of PPDA Regulation No. 70 of 2003. That is, following a signifi cant change in the technical details of the requirement.
The non refundable fee of Ug.Shs 50,000 that had been paid by some bidders for the purchase of the bidding document will be reserved for future utilization on the new procurement if the said bidders are still interested in participating in the procurement.
The invitation for the new procurement will be published in the local print media for notifi cation to all interested bidders.
