Notice to all our contracted, Dark Fire Cured Tobacco Growers

As the 2010 Buying Season draws towards it conclusion and preparations for the 2011 Crop commence, Uganda Leaf Tobacco Company wishes to notify all our Contracted Dark Fire Cured Growers of the following:


Uganda Leaf Tobacco Co (ULTC) will continue to deploy our Buying Teams
to all our growing areas until the 30th September 2010 by which time all DFC tobacco should have been cured and ready for sale.


Uganda Leaf Tobacco Company Ltd, urges its farmers to present their tobacco for sale well in advance of the above date so as to ensure that they benefit from the work they have put into this season's crop and do not remain with tobacco unsold after this date


Registration for the 2011 season will commence in October 2010 and farmers who have supported ULTC during this season are invited to register with us from that date.
