All candidates for October - November 2010 examinations

The registration of candidates for the 2010 examinations has been completed.

UNEB has sent out printouts of registers of candidates to schools/centers for checking by the teachers and candidates.

Candidates can also check the accuracy of their registration details such as names, subjects/papers, choices etc via mobile phone SMS messaging.

The spellings of the candidates’ names as they appear on the registers/SMS will be printed in exactly the same way on the respective results slips and certicates.

It is therefore important that candidates report immediately any errors they find in their registration to the Teachers in charge of UNEB registration at their schools/centers.

The formats of the SMS to be sent to 6600 are as follows:

1. PLE: Type PLE followed by one space then type the index number
e.g. PLE 035271/042

2. UCE: Type UCE followed by one space then type the index number e.g.
UCE U0641/499

3. UACE: Type UACE followed by one space then type the index number
e.g. UACE U1425/957

4. Technical: Type TECH followed by one space then type the index number e.g.TECH UT002/0029

5. UJTC / CP: Type UJTC followed by one space then type the index number e.g. UJTC UT061/041

Please note the following:
Do not include any other text such as commas, full stops, etc in the SMS
Do not include a name in the SMS.

There should be only one space in the SMS, as mentioned above.

This SMS service is available only on MTN, Orange and Warid Networks.
Each SMS sent to 6600 costs Shs 500.
