JINJA - THE Police have rounded up over 80 suspected criminals who have been terrorising residents in Njeru town in Mukono district.

The swoop carried out on Wednesday in Njeru, Mbiko and Nakibizzi was commandeered by the Jinja police commander, John Arinaitwe.

He said the swoop followed a spate of crimes such as robberies and murders in Njeru. He said the suspects were taken to Njeru police post.

Arinaitwe appealed to the community to avail the Police with information on suspected characters and cautioned them not to take the law into their hands.
