Buhaguzi MP Tom Kyahurwenda is still detained at Hoima Central Police Station on assault and inciting violence charges. Kyahurwenda was arrested on Wednesday at his home in Kabwoya, following claims that he had killed two poll agents and beaten up others as they headed to Karama polling station in Kabwoya sub-county. The MP, who is the NRM district vice-chairman, was expected to appear before Hoima Grade Two Magistrate last evening, but he did not because his file had not yet been sanctioned by the resident state attorney.
