MP Alex Onzima is causing a lot of confusion among the people of Maracha and the West Nile as a whole. First, he defected from the Forum for Democratic Change party to the ruling National Resistance Movement party with 200 people.

He said there were internal wrangles in the FDC.
Recent newspaper reports are saying that Onzima intends to run as an independent in the 2011 general elections.
Onzima complained that the NRM primaries were characterised by irregularities.

I just cannot understand what Onzima is after. I thought his defecting from the FDC was meant to enable him work with the ruling NRM party and develop the newly-created district of Maracha.

Honorable, what do you want? Please tell us your real intentions. This region is lagging behind and we need a focussed MP not one who is after achieving personal goals.
