YOUR paper recently reported that the Inter-Party Cooperation (IPC) had asked Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) president Dr. Kizza Besigye to sign an agreement that he would grant Buganda federo.

This disappointed many of us who support the FDC, but do not want federo. Leaders should know that not everyone in Uganda wants federo. It is just a small group of people in Buganda who are asking for it.

Instead of favouring one tribe, is it not better for Besigye to quit the IPC and run on the FDC ticket?
Uganda’s main problem is poor delivery of services due to corruption. Federo cannot be a solution to such a problem.
