EDITOR: Even with the stories of rigging, vote buying and fights, I think the NRM elections have been a show of true democracy marred by the usual anomalies.

Seeing those who thought were untouchable fall shows that the old guard is on its way out. However, the new flag-bearers might not be able to defeat some of the established opposition politicians.
