NATIONAL athletics technical committee head Faustin Kiwa is in Kapchorwa to preside over the selection of the final team to the World Cross Country championships. The event is due March 28 in Bydgoszcz, Poland, reports Norman Katende.

After over two weeks of training in the Kapchorwa highlands, a mini cross country event has been organised for the athletes under coaches Gordon Ahimbisibwe and Nalis Bigingo at Sebei College.

The federation intends to enter three teams, the senior and junior men and the junior women, in the global event.
