SOCCER - Kampala regional qualifiers for the COPA post primary schools soccer championship continue today with three crucial games on card. In Rubaga, Uganda Martyrs take on rivals Lubiri SS at Makerere University play ground. “Both teams are yet to lose a game and the winner may qualify,” official Ayyub Khalifan said.

SWIMMING - Aga Khan School will have to beat four international and five junior schools at the fourth edition of the Aga Khan junior swimming championships at Kololo tomorrow. The gala will have juniors battling for medals and trophies in the U-6, U-7, U-8, U-9, U-10, U-11 and U-12 in both girls and boys categories.

Mbale to host schools meet

ATHLETICS - Mbale District is to host this year’s National Primary Schools Athletics championship starting April 5 at Mbale Municipal Stadium. The district sports officer Peter Majeme said six sub-committees have been set up to run the event. On the committees are the CAO, town clerk and the district Police Commander among others. The games are held annually.
