Cranes fans speak

A number of Ugandans believe that it is time for Uganda Cranes to qualify for the Africa Cup of Nations because of the professional players generated over the years.

They believe their first qualifying fixture against Angola will be won comfortably going by the recent home record the Cranes have enjoyed in the past.

Prossy Nabulungu, phone operator –– Uganda will win 3-0. Our team is now stronger and our boys have been working hard recently and the coach seems to be doing a good job.

Alex Kaggwa: sports punter –– Uganda at home is a sure win and if its on the odds tomorrow I will bet on them beating Angola 2-1. Our boys are also motivated.

Christopher Lubongoya, trader –– Uganda to win 3-0. Our team is good and all our professionals are available so there should be no problem winning.

Mark Kalung, trader - This is a tough fixture for Uganda because Angola have better experience in this competition. The only consolation is we always win at home and could do so again today.
