I can’t date or marry a celebrity. Our characters wouldn’t match. I’m a private person. I don’t want to be in the limelight. Dating a celebrity would definitely mean I would end up in the limelight.
Carol Lutaaya, a banker

It depends on a person’s character. There are celebrities who respect and treat their partners well. In other words, there are responsible celebrities about whom I have never had any issues.
Ibrah Kakaire, a journalist

COMMENT: Celebrities are just like any other person. It is the press that exaggerates whatever happens in their lives. As a spouse, a journalist may take a photograph where your celebrity partner is hugging a friend, a fan or a client but the journalist goes ahead and insinuates that they spent the night together!
Moses Ouma, a doctor

I would marry him. Sometimes the press reports false information about celebrities. It takes someone who is confident and knows that the man they love and gossip about them are two different things.
Faith Nassali, student, a Makerere University

Yes. Although it may hurt me to hear that my spouse had or is having an affair with someone else, there is nothing I can do about it. You can’t prevent such things when you are married to a celebrity.
