IT all began at Club Silk when Makindye LC3 Chairman Godfrey Kalungi exchanged words with one George Baryamera last Friday and the name Olivia kept being mentioned.

The brawl then grew physical and Kalungi hit Baryamera with a bottle, leaving him with a swollen and bleeding eyelid. Baryamera was thrown out of the club by bouncers. Seething with anger, he went for Kalungi’s official vehicle LG 0407-01 and shattered the windscreen and side window before fleeing in his BMW.

Baryarema then returned and was arrested by the Police together with two friends who were trying to protect him. At the Policestation, they said Kalungi always provoked them over one Olivia, who died recently in a motor accident.

Kalungi opened a case of aggravated robbery claiming the three had a gun and took $10,000 and official files from his vehicle.
