Banned from women’s salons
PALESTINE-The Islamist group, Hamas, has banned men in the Gaza Strip from working in women’s hair salons, vowing to arrest and try offenders. Over the last three years, several beauty parlours and hair salons in the Gaza Strip have been the target of explosions, which Hamas have blamed on radical Islamist groups who share the ideology of Al-Qaeda. Such groups, which seek to defy Hamas rule in Gaza for not implementing strict Islamic law, have been blamed for attacks in the city.

Breast implant saves woman
US -When a gunman stormed a Simi Valley dental office last summer and shot Lydia Carranza in the chest, salvation may have come in the shape of her size-D breast implant. Beverly Hills cosmetic surgeon Dr. Ashkan Ghavami, contends that the implant absorbed much of the bullet’s impact, limiting the damage to the breast. “The bullet fragments were millimetres from her heart and vital organs. Had she not had the implant, she might not be alive today,” he said. Scott Reitz, a deadly-force expert said a saline implant is like a high-pressure bag full of salt water. It probably would provide more resistance than plain flesh.
