Guadalupe escapes
CATALINA AND SEBASTIAN

After Catalina collapses at the concert, Sebastian rushes her to the doctor with Carmelo furiously following. The doctor tells Catalina she is pregnant.

She gets excited because it is Sebastian’s child since she has never consummated her marriage to Carmelo but she fears that Sebastian won’t believe her.

Gustavo and Catalina bring the police to check out the attic and find it empty. Catalina calls Sebastian and tells him she suspects his father is alive. Jessica is angry that Sebastian is falling for Catalina again.

He tells her he only wants to find out about his father.

Ramiro warns Sebastian that Jessica might be involved in changing Guadalupe’s will and might know about his disappearance.

Back at the new hiding place, Guadalupe pretends to be getting worse so Carmelo sends his henchmen to stop Gustavo from going back to the police.

Guadalupe sends his nurse, Roberta, to find Carmelo because he is dying. When she leaves, he escapes and tries to find his way to the penthouse to get help.

Will he find Catalina before Carmelo’s men find him?

Valentia and Trinidad are finally reunited

More than anything, Santos knows that he has to make Maria Teresa forgive him and take him back so he can be with the woman he loves. He still can’t tell her that he knows about the baby.

Alirio goes to see Solita to talk about the baby she is carrying. Solita mocks him about leaving her only to fall in love with a man. He begs for her forgiveness and asks to be involved in the child’s life.

Solita tells Alirio that he lost any right to be the baby’s father when he walked away and that he will only contribute to the baby’s welfare financially but he is otherwise not wanted.

Valentina longs to be reunited with her family and she dares to go to her mother’s house. She approaches Trinidad and reveals that she is alive and well.

They have an emotional reunion but Valentina asks Trinidad not to tell Bernarda that she is alive.

She tells her that she has to first deal with the people who tried to kill her. Santos tells Maria Teresa that he loves her and can’t imagine his life with anyone else.

Maria Teresa’s defences are slowly wearing thin and she desperately wants to let Santos back in.

They spend the night together when Santos falls ill and Maria Teresa offers to nurse him. Meanwhile, Felipe tells Valentina that Maria Teresa is pregnant with Santos’ baby. Will the two survive Valentina’s wrath?
